About Canvas
- Does it change my document without asking?
- No. Findings are proposals. Nothing is written into the document until you accept it, and what you accept lands as a tracked change you can still reject in Word.
- Will the formatting survive?
- Yes. Changes are applied to the original DOCX, so numbering, styles, cross-references, and the document's own structure stay as they were.
- How is this different from a playbook review?
- Canvas is where you work on one document. A playbook is the standard a review argues from. Run a playbook inside Canvas and you get your firm's positions applied to the agreement in front of you.
- Can it draft from nothing?
- Yes, with the jurisdiction and the matter record in context. It is usually faster to start from a precedent in your Drive, and Canvas can work from that instead.
- Does it work in Word?
- Through the Office add-in, yes. 8rney appears inside Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and tracked changes land in the document you already have open.
